lookKIT - The Magazine for Research, Teaching and Innovation
In turn, german and english articles describe activities, people and institutions from this and other KIT fields - a summary in the other language delivers main aspects.
lookKIT is directed to a broad public - alumnae and alumni, people in economy, politics and media.
The magazine is published in a circulation of 20.000 copies. There are four issues each year. In a big size, the editorial department presents close-ups of KIT in word and image, faces and stories.
Companies can place ads in the magazine.
The current issue of lookKIT focuses on the topic of sustainable mobility.
35 percent of waste generation, 40 percent of climate gas emissions, and 50 percent of primary raw material consumption are attributable to the construction sector in Europe. These figures show that construction still holds a lot of potential for saving resources and operating more sustainably. Scientists at KIT are looking for the right levers to achieve this.
In the new issue of lookKIT, you can read, among other things, about how circular construction principles and biogenic materials could make building more sustainable. You will also learn how interiors can be pleasantly air-conditioned and energy demands reduced at the same time. In addition, we introduce you to the founders of the Karlsruhe local group of "Architects for Future" - two KIT architecture master's students.
